·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
3 f$ `  U2 Y/ {3 T" g6 h2 Q
; E3 U3 e4 Q8 f9 _. z9 [·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

# X. z3 u8 f9 T* p( _·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

( T# x) C; Z. w- r" p·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

Position Requirements

! a6 C8 n& y! t·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

1 f1 H+ _) R4 Y6 @0 I·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must
% {4 ~/ U9 F- d9 x. w- M5 {. i2 H6 `
·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

; T8 x1 X( z9 W8 N6 g& m/ j+ `·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

$ K4 ?" V: x" _& e2 k# j! I/ Q7 Q·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously
