Responsibilities

1 }! u9 U3 d+ i% J$ l·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

* D5 A# u! v  c- Y# N3 @8 V·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

2 l0 C. G9 v5 ~* g; n·         Reviewing vendor drawings

/ B; g; m9 ~  h( k. j) W. f% {" ~) ]: f* R·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

7 t6 R) ~1 ?$ Z6 u( D# N( H- W  W·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Position Requirements

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering
% B% g3 F3 c" O9 S, f6 k
·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

& B' n" {! _; g" W& v1 Y·         Attention to detail is a must
8 Y5 h/ y/ E% P( E7 M- D7 N9 N* w
5 b) w& A8 A% a1 j9 i, ]1 N·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

- {0 X% l$ z/ w$ v/ o' i8 q$ }+ A·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

5 {1 ~0 P! B) q' x! T4 K# y) R·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously
