Events Edmonton is pleased to stage the New Year’s Eve Festival in downtown Edmonton. The City of Edmonton will produce the fireworks at midnight which will be themed to celebrate the Centenary of the University of Alberta. Attendance is anticipated to be over 25,000 people, depending on weather conditions.
