( R; S" c2 ~) F$ JTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

; g9 q% G/ v# ~7 Z/ L+ S! {• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
- O" H6 q* K1 a0 r3 ]• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
* D* H' u: }0 B% U0 X• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
: k4 n' R3 ], g% r• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
5 N8 ^, x" H8 K; V+ n• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

2 z. U4 e8 f6 }+ ?•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
) ^; _; o6 Y- s: C• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
: k! J! c) H& e: ]1 C• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
/ l; ^7 B9 G! ]' J4 h! a• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
