Job Description:

•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.) a! R$ n! Z4 Z7 y2 m3 S% a& T
•        Oversee hotel security requirements. 9 j$ a0 g" s# t1 A
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
$ @* A4 m6 @- \! h•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
! \: F& F3 X; [, q1 J•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
0 o( C" R1 `6 @  Y! I) f2 }•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.* Y. y+ S3 `+ \( G1 \/ |( ]
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
4 d7 ~7 `1 @# V7 Y; q/ Y8 j- R9 k•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave." L; I* N; z0 Q9 J8 T2 ^4 ?
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. $ o. E% A+ I3 d6 y
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. $ O& `. w" M" e
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
, h- J- T8 _2 [•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. * N7 N* x, c6 e6 Z( K% _' e
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
+ ~, C) E- C: ]2 R4 K, w6 P% n. `0 e•        Attend Cluster meetings. + R0 |/ B% R) e9 L( Q
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report." x8 Z8 K3 Q6 P
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
% p- J3 P& D) L& R•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies/ G# [* [  ~2 V, m$ @: @
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center# E5 j2 }) r3 K* X
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

8 i- ]5 M  U6 g•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property0 ]7 j4 g: @# {; H4 v& k1 I
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;+ z8 o) `5 A0 I* p' ]
• Ability to lead and develop;
& D+ @: u& i# i* N• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;; u& i3 P* O3 j" G+ n
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
- G% u$ V- L6 e9 W( a' @& z• Ability to work within deadlines;
% J( U( W7 v) Y" r• High level of creativity and innovation;
$ D( q! m* k: i• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;9 J7 I, W; |/ f+ v, H* T  g
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.+ G2 |1 D( D0 R7 K+ A; _
