Job Description:
$ J5 v" p# o* {3 V0 EJob Responsibilities6 ~. C$ Q8 N, C/ K: B* ]% F
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.2 p/ s: d' {& E' U- L, `  E
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
5 f6 p8 m- A7 K•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.& U" a8 e8 Q  R& t% a
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. , Z3 V1 ?& H1 ^/ a6 b7 D
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
, y& D( C! T3 j  C•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.' @% o% d: Q+ r; o. O, l% s3 u
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.7 |1 ?3 o9 w; c9 j% e
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave., |/ l# I: t3 \
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 4 ]  K8 E8 j# k1 d
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. 8 z8 r; {! \) b( q; z9 Q( s
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
7 s- g/ D/ j  R5 v5 \•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
5 \# y* l1 r! V6 g•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.7 n# G" f; y! E6 E3 ^+ z. E2 u
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
$ z! e& g* l* z  y+ ]•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.- G2 k9 ~$ r# B: F
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
7 [5 s& f7 n9 B1 K  V+ l6 T•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
9 I" [2 i$ {8 w7 _7 K2 a•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center5 ?, P1 x- F+ X# C
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
2 H  Z; B, J, \; F1 C# v# U• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
6 V- s" o4 {) {% y. y* a• Ability to lead and develop;7 n; M, z, A8 q# t. P, {1 L
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
" Q5 K, {; J4 X7 a( u6 k: t• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
/ J6 I8 w7 F$ u" P( W& F• Ability to work within deadlines;
* G& b8 B5 @. S. Y$ h+ q" l, V• High level of creativity and innovation;2 |) P, @' [, A5 s- J
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
