Job Description:
, |7 X+ r3 H% x3 EJob Responsibilities: P- d  E  `/ Q, v% W6 @# i
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
1 m/ U  v! P+ _/ q% F! g•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
& n& `, m8 {6 r" n; ^9 \•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
2 Q8 Z! v2 c# F' `; `1 H  l$ @•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 1 |' K( z/ q0 n& s7 L- R! R
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
) {5 N6 ^4 N5 w; {8 Y•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.  U1 P$ E4 ^# ^3 C! j
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
2 T# N& J* e; _, S8 s•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.1 y6 G, W9 X" [
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
2 n+ ~4 y1 C- ]! ]•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
. Z; p9 \' t1 y•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
' e2 j: j0 p; v$ w% B# E% u9 r  a•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
5 U; |. Z" k( M- B! O' X2 |•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.% X1 c8 q. m1 o" r0 [; C
•        Attend Cluster meetings. / j; i/ @+ x; ?2 h3 H6 H0 Q) N2 b+ t
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.1 ]$ u- L! G4 H6 s
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
+ t. y7 U6 o/ R$ d" }( j) k, k7 c•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
. c$ Y7 V: }3 J9 C3 W•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center& k6 \% g- j: x- Z0 d: M4 R- D, E
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 9 o7 L- q5 U( Z7 G* o$ i6 N2 E
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property0 L2 a: M* X- ^" B' a( u# K8 B% p
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
1 B  A7 V- N# F2 {9 [; m• Ability to lead and develop;
) s7 }) Y3 A  s5 k, ^$ f% I3 ]• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;% w8 b& ?, g8 y& g% X/ Y9 l7 T
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
: K* h& p# _4 I, }* k7 e• Ability to work within deadlines;+ j4 p: W$ T& \7 @. |
• High level of creativity and innovation;
( T1 W% Z5 y3 h. V3 l• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
