Job Responsibilities
7 I2 _1 M4 q- {) t•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.) f9 |  H( h7 p: L2 l& C/ E
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
; ^: Y6 v+ o- \•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
& A/ e+ y$ l3 B•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 7 X4 v" h2 g; ^2 L" X) A* ?; V
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.& K5 n) }0 @* p1 g; f3 i0 i! h  `
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
% _" @3 k6 D7 V8 q) s•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests./ B; H9 M. x  P5 S
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
) U( l& F% \7 x% p•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. . Y4 ^& S- X& n9 y9 Y  v
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
8 @9 f1 N; Z! l. b0 V; s•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. ) b) _9 r1 m* ?  G" S5 |. ~
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
$ {1 g" G$ r. t4 P0 r•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.7 n! k6 X, V- m! j% k$ t
•        Attend Cluster meetings. 1 R/ `# c. ?) c# ~4 ]
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
5 |0 M+ q8 Q8 t3 k3 L•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
$ _% ?+ {. W8 h- l- W( A$ k•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
" I3 q3 P. p1 D  }•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
; K6 ~0 @, G! f•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float - {  P6 C2 H" u( t; u
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

) _! ?& J$ [) P•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
) a3 q" f: h  ^% T# q' R+ P• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;, S* v+ P( U1 s- p
• Ability to lead and develop;
; }* n$ r' a) Z. e9 z• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
4 L$ p# D) C& @/ R• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
0 Q# }7 g# L8 c- t& E! {& r- U. ~• Ability to work within deadlines;9 ^0 ~* r5 X( b9 {9 ~/ h4 s
• High level of creativity and innovation;' C4 N$ B( f: h& ]* n9 [7 |
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;. M1 e- A8 {- y
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
