Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

6 P- t" S3 t# Q* wThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
3 t! B0 P1 {6 G5 }- @0 A Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
9 k% X' ?3 J2 h9 A3 e( o0 s Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
7 E# I: T) z% k) x. c Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
3 M1 {$ Q7 T& p- j% l& @. i An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
