Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
3 r# Y- d3 a: x  u Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
1 m# P% s# U2 \; O  ^ Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
1 c4 y0 g6 y, ~# H Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
/ l# j" s6 {9 ?0 [; W$ K Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
