•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages6 q/ }6 V" Z4 n$ m$ w6 E
•Review all aspects of the RFP documents
8 p- J* m$ ^9 G( T0 o r! F•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages5 E: S- P: M, n4 B' M
•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work 2 V, S! m6 o" c9 G/ w' D
•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing& I1 `( `1 @" V0 m% |. p
•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships" ] j$ V* C+ x4 t E# B# h# `
•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle
- {% w! }2 Q$ n+ g+ w•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator# g7 N9 X* S# I3 K
•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
