This position reports directly to the District Program Manager

Key Responsibilities are as follows:
: P* U& i' y- b# q: p•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
; T/ e! V+ Y1 X# d* ~•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies. •Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting5 U% E& D( _" Z- ~7 J$ X, U( }7 f/ I, F
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects. |( k, q6 K2 y+ q. P! J
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential5 |4 ]; |6 _; J. d
3 f: [- A- d& t; ^Qualifications:
2 P# |% n- ^4 w# _. i•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;! d7 |1 `0 ~$ z& i; }
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
* ]3 n8 [, w, O( D* v# C2 N•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;( u9 m7 [# W# g2 A2 Q) u3 p1 p
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
