Key Responsibilities are as follows:
, p0 W. V3 C, B1 d' i$ K  W8 R•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 3 p' ~$ q7 X) ~: d
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
" i: i* |( Z( M# S, R•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting6 N- G2 k* {" {5 B2 e: @2 U  f3 s
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
* C$ _; ~8 q( n! [•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
/ J- y: O5 l# V# a•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
3 _" `* `; r# ?" Z2 [•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;8 b! X5 p( Z5 ^& {' G. j2 r
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
1 a& h" }' \; ?/ w- G•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
" O, O$ N. q+ x0 W$ j& G•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.2 |4 s3 S* s# v% G% m
) q0 b1 z$ K2 D+ M4 ]
