( O5 ]9 Q) I- x4 E6 _Key Responsibilities are as follows:
1 `4 J; g6 n9 ~5 l- v•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 4 Q s1 W7 W" p2 f9 W
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies8 D6 y$ B8 M- R( [# n; n' R W- G' k
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting% O2 v" o8 O4 d( T
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
) A- a0 c# ~. a* ^, q•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
* P1 x& {! ]7 D1 @$ I•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
3 t' W W2 M- D) Z•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;: ^8 |, ]5 l* z; L1 B
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
7 b8 o$ E4 o% d1 ~1 K•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
- K; ?. v, n: \5 h•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.2 z$ @! _7 A* c& |5 ~8 w
