Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:
" l; ^9 g ^/ K$ K
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

* y1 ^3 \, q2 s$ }• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

, P; a3 d3 C# b# l' h- r• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.- _# Y4 [4 f9 Z

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.9 X# C, D; z7 F( z& v& ?% h5 ?9 ^

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours. 

- q( G! x" t5 _• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.9 R, c1 O8 K4 [
 
; e$ j; F1 Z! q [! i) G$ Q7 cJob Qualifications- B- p& r' T+ Q! L9 `3 Z! T
• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
/ N6 y( K; W$ r! M. G' u
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

6 E1 R( @ D# l& l0 L7 s2 b• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.9 w7 e+ z/ \# X" `$ m/ C2 T; ^- l

• Travel within the assigned region.
