Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
+ e3 J. k* E* ]
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.8 `& s" Y0 [5 Q3 [4 Q

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.- t! ?* B0 J7 G9 ?" R

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.' f2 I: t2 a7 f: X* P

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

' O9 S4 ?9 r/ j; H& l( M5 A• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
' W4 b) K+ T, b0 l
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

# [) c: s, ]1 O; i% X$ F, c• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

- l* B) ?6 F: a& e) Z1 \( R• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

3 g2 m0 Q2 \5 }! K2 W" Q• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

• Travel within the assigned region.

• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
