Position Summary:
8 m5 W0 V7 K: tTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.! X) Y4 D; ~" o7 C3 x. `
* f! _! B' l0 V& d: l# P* C1 M+ EPrimary Objective/Duties of position:; Z; b) S3 P6 J$ q# q
$ z, j/ R( q, f6 E& `) s Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals1 N, l! i7 w3 b! Z' V
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
3 O M# y, E/ [1 k; r3 m. k9 F+ k+ R% H3 u Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
0 n' R3 C. H. R/ D Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy7 G5 d" a) y7 I6 P/ X1 G
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
p0 j W1 P! }4 {& I Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes! o/ e# v2 S8 A* g
Actively participate in training initiatives, g2 ?! I- `7 ]" K9 U$ n& U
Participate in community marketing initiatives
# l1 r) ]8 E6 r% W3 n; o4 ~ u# P2 @* |/ _/ u
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
7 e( A0 j0 C' z
" b5 e/ R6 H# a! p High School and or Post Secondary Education
7 e- n" W$ e' D( Z7 |+ ` Previous customer service experience- ~9 l5 [8 ]# Z
Previous sales experience an asset
8 _% m, i7 O( |) r: S3 n& Z General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
4 E- o$ g0 I: d# H" f- x Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully# S; [, ^* I5 h+ ^' c# s: `; e
Strong analytical and organizational skills0 H4 r# c5 f, Q# R
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
! d, v0 O9 \3 T: _) I Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
