To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.+ T M. `. }4 \" q; Y# O

Primary Objective/Duties of position:8 r- K* E4 o' w3 r

Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals' r, q: V- E& i; A8 C
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
) a. v3 B& Q0 a V Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
) E- A: p6 v( x& M Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy$ y* ?) j! g; Y; j, Q9 z
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
% s% M0 m8 B! F: b# {0 ~1 f+ J Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes( Z3 _+ P b. S9 ^; r" [
Actively participate in training initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

+ I6 Q4 W, g8 C6 |: x High School and or Post Secondary Education- m9 V" Y# ~4 u8 c; G- Y
Previous customer service experience0 i* q* Y& U8 v7 U0 B
Previous sales experience an asset: F( p4 G$ _; h" i
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain, F3 I5 }1 a/ d6 q' Y
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully, e- V& `* i& s( j, d+ |( u
Strong analytical and organizational skills
% D9 O; _: }) e Excellent verbal and written communication skills
