Position Summary:
% w* M: t' C& `7 xTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:5 W1 _* _9 E8 j; b) V, s* Y
{2 p! A. ?! w2 y- A/ o Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
3 R! B6 U5 I) K* t2 i) t8 @) S. ?" I Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
. ?2 [2 L& K8 I c. M9 O Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
, X3 H4 D" Q6 Y. ?$ ? Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy9 L/ b4 }' \% _' n# m
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
* f- d1 V$ Y2 v; H9 J) o Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes% H2 R9 A2 p" P$ ]/ W$ b
Actively participate in training initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:% h; U" P2 j% q2 C# R/ W
. o3 u7 V }1 s) {* Y; }1 [
High School and or Post Secondary Education
' |& q! P& j$ I Previous customer service experience+ n1 a; z4 E% C* N& G- I @
Previous sales experience an asset) j; T2 e" B6 v/ F% R
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
% e3 f; W5 y0 s4 T Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
