It is necessary to read variety, different kinds of books, such as fiction, nonfiction, science, social books, etc.
Parents and kids read together, bring up his/her motivation.
Fixed time reading everyday
Learning with playful environment, comfortable reading chair/sofa, bright light etc.
Asking questions by parents.
Write a book report or repeat/recite the favorite verse or paragraph.
