If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

: V0 L; L" ?" fto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 9 b' k; g! }* y) T3 T0 F
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
; d, a5 w- {. B* Rlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth - W6 a0 C$ a! @. R

2 i& ]8 E7 ]( u2 x) z9 oBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening a/ r8 F- u0 E) i
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
7 d: k' }$ p& C0 T* sa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday & U: c& j K* q( T4 i; s
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 3 `$ Y9 t8 v; o
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
$ Q1 R" N a+ LSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, , t. _$ B1 o* W
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

' Y( ~9 A5 Y2 R, p& d) K7 fBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
6 m6 q& g# v9 }, i, a3 N0 j! Zto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from % N8 K. J5 E9 t, j* n( Y
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
' I+ S& R% _) u0 K, C0 l2 HONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
" }) z P9 i) E. e9 J$ L" Dyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 6 C- M/ x7 _6 V5 E Q) s3 w! q& E
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus % R8 L7 b8 ]3 v
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ) G; ?; S9 C5 T& d! e
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and " N( n+ s" V! a& z" O
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ! ]3 X# C$ l! f$ @3 O( M
two days of Orientation).0 F: `& {$ K3 e( \' r. A Q0 L5 e
