(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
0 U5 U( `* C! n! d, v9 g! hattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
h6 }- V: W& B8 b2 K! {8 Ginformation that will make your transition to the University community

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit / O8 J: z4 E7 ]8 S. t7 O
www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having
; |0 {* D S* _) Ato find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 9 I6 D* J9 I2 C( Z# M: D* ]
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically : n$ ]1 q) Q. i' ^; R: K' ]! U
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
% `, e. R% C4 pof directional information.0 R& W/ }( o* W, ~$ x" U2 ~0 Q8 R Y0 b

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening * I6 W$ ^" Y7 F
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
% {( C) O8 D0 J! j& `5 Z3 d) y$ ta variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
( j( [: J$ P9 O! T. R# x; Revening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 5 e6 w7 ^* ~& G
Hawrelak Park.

C: q3 q/ d/ ]0 HYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on % x- x8 N9 k" W) d
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, + D5 m7 y; |' U1 \: z
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 3 T. J0 i/ Q6 ~
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from ' X* V- }, O8 b$ ]. f$ B
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your % _7 H; h5 k# P; G+ `1 T
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process : F% c( o8 K$ K( A" P: y
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
% @" Q# T4 `6 xof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus . n% y4 x- V7 C7 L+ ~
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic . ^' t) t% X! I5 H k* a5 B) v
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and * }2 X: I, Y( M# m5 X
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 4 n1 ~2 b/ p _' I; c0 G$ m' E
two days of Orientation).
