$ ]3 n! L. \4 q(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
\) y4 `/ t! H1 v% T5 Pattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
h: _1 O5 z8 Z" p5 j L. K7 \! ?information that will make your transition to the University community

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ?, x) c+ R' v5 M3 B# z0 U1 |
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend . \; D% ?. A2 ~ S
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ; e3 `; A/ S# v1 j9 E/ e) k- O$ S
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 5 g! t& Z& w# } d) O' c
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
6 b- C, l# m- [September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, " v8 T4 C4 E0 Y" ~
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

; h3 Q' c* b, n5 CBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you w$ P2 ~' h5 y* a5 k' `: `; a
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 2 e: y5 Z! P2 }0 w' O
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
4 f0 g* e, L% c! t0 e4 j; |ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ( e6 I8 U/ Y9 ^2 `- h
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece / R& F6 F/ P+ B' E6 q1 X% z5 l$ n
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus + \! K+ T3 k, w1 m! P
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
8 e7 K4 B0 q7 p: G4 ~Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
8 p" r! R, Z, j# }, n7 G1 a6 \bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ; _( }* T& W0 u) I. p# A
two days of Orientation).& T9 ]4 c$ \) s& {" l+ N0 _
