买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

4 I) @! v% o. L8 DYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
1 S( L: N8 q2 N+ z; a/ F•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
6 F9 ?; k" |/ i- M" M9 ^•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).& t3 N9 Z7 S% u  J
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.9 e2 G( T2 B, ~# G! g

! t# `* m) v5 b+ l* L) H在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. ) u) [9 o: @3 R6 {; z

The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.
