买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

5 ~8 ^2 }3 d3 W% q5 r& N: w3 Q; XYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:$ P* @. \: j) J
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
0 R$ M) t2 O2 z0 [+ P1 ]' @: L•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).0 ~1 S3 S1 y0 P: ?
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

' I0 {% Q3 d- ?0 U* U, FA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. : r" @6 `" ?# d

2 @8 ~' B( {0 V' F. c( VThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.$ q  F0 T6 y* E/ m# k; V& K

" g/ H$ o& F- n2 i; wWhen more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.+ k0 e9 w3 J3 w& v
