This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).$ ]8 t7 Q' K+ F) [
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic3 v/ E1 n6 U! R0 U- E m& n
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and k( O5 s& l( @: O% u2 F• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or 9 s F \- G2 p, {: W• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy. 1 R' S8 T!
