This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible). 8 o& l B& Q; Y, t9 n- S* TWhen the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic4 @# v# C& B4 k$ B& c
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and& k. z; M5 s% t& v# v; x
• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or. p% Z. H; ^/ o- n1 W% B7 F5 V- K
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy./ _& e- L+ y9 r; l( `$ d
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
