I have been looking into Windermere.
; ~1 s4 H" {) d3 F3 ]My personal opinion, Ambleside South is the worst of all Windermere sub-area.

As you said, traffic is an issue, you can only take either Ellerslie Road or 170 St., S; L! o8 k( h# h! ^1 `
Just Ellerslie is serving many sub-areas, Glenridding, Graydon Hill, Kerwick, Ambleside South.# `6 ^0 E, m4 D5 V
The City just did some upgrade to the road, and I am not sure if there is plan to expand into two lanes.

Some people already mentioned here, AS is very crowded.

What type of housing you are looking for?
+ i& s' z0 H, ~7 UThat area is full of duplex and rear lane houses, 100% sure parking will be an issue.
7 O. Q) _' j# _Don't understand why people with detached garages like to park on the street.

I am looking at single family home and finally picked The One. |
