Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week
, }7 @/ J/ v  w3 ]3 k9 f$ @# CKey Responsibilities
* j2 H3 h3 r9 w& a4 j1 \-community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
-workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
' x; s: @1 E. j8 }: ]-fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
1 W' J- b5 D3 m* t& Y& d4 D- L2 Q-develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
1 @* r* U8 c. E% [  \& P, |4 Q-coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members
-assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.
-participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
-demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
-participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
-write quarterly and final reports for ISP

6 ?  y: k8 A: d6 P/ bQualifications
9 }& _4 Y; V. ~' ~! q-degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
-good oral and written Chinese and English skills
-experience in community work and immigrant services
