Edmonton home builders say they are working non-stop to meet a demand they haven’t seen since the boom of 2005.

“Right now we're running flat out, we’re building as much as we can,” said Rob Busby, construction manager for Landmark Homes.

7 b. h1 N) y4 `The increased demand is due to strong job and population growth, according to Christina Butchart, senior analyst with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.# Z; C0 [, q7 V) m

“If you look at the number of people who are moving into Edmonton, it’s record high levels so that’s contributing to that expanding demand,” she said.
