买新房alberta 5 year home warranty问题

请教大家一个问题，如果我2014年7月买了一个2013建好的房子（新房）。
省里的5年warranty对我这个房子生效么？
我刚刚在省里网站上看了一圈发现好像只对2014年2月以后的房子有效，但是卖房的人告诉我是有的。

In this case, the builder's sales manager / general manager can be the best sources for interpretation on the Alberta 5 Year Home Warranty. You better email him/her for answer. Later on, this is the basis of understanding, and the commitment that builder has to comply. Not suggesting you for such verbal interpretation over the phone. Builder could deny any verbal commitment.  Never engage yourself in a situation of "you said, I said" if there is possibility of misunderstanding and dispute. It got to be black and white in paper, which can be in the email.
