We encourage you to make every effort to resolve your concern directly with the dentist involved before making a complaint to the Alberta Dental Association and College. Do not delay treatment because you are waiting for the outcome of a complaint.

; s y2 Q5 W( e# D! s2 q- c* rIf you do make a complaint to the Alberta Dental Association and College about the conduct of a dentist or a quality of care concern, your complaint must:

) |; E$ N# l, I" u) V! Kbe signed by you; b" F/ g+ Z5 f* B D
0 N! F) W& x7 @, e* W5 E- b% X! ?provide the name of the dentist you are complaining about;

include enough detail about the nature of your complaint so the dentist is able to respond to the complaint, such as what happened, when it happened and where it happened;
