can i notch out joists of the second floor? any structure engineer here?

i want to make a zero entrance shower, need the floor under the shower sink down 1.5". can i notch down joists for 1.5" deep? and how to reinforce the notched joist after cutting? the joists closed to the end of house. thanks for your valuable input.

yes, after removing existing shower enclosure. the city inspector just came and  said i can cut joists, unless it is proved by structure engineer. so i give up now.

其实没那么难，但是一般工程师不会费那个事。
