We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

9 a9 t' K( w* N4 R• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.! N( O# N$ ?/ [
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
0 c. O* @3 p' ?. b• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible0 U* C- L g) ]! Q2 J u
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.6 |3 X9 g$ g4 O: j# v* e {( G+ w

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
4 x, V5 R' V Y' c• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study( W8 [+ d/ j% k5 [
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills' t! d) \* B+ x8 w! B3 }% X3 A3 G
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
