We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

POSITION: Junior Accountant; `2 ?6 V' b& N% S7 y* p2 L- b" d
8 [* U) p8 D; l* {5 u; \1 BDUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.7 d: Y5 T4 }( @+ D5 W! Q
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
* m& i: j% H b# } f$ ^• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
& x1 p% ]% b; G+ k• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

2 t w) L7 `8 Z r, P. w1 }• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
; W& ]& Y- U- n5 i% k+ k• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study4 X" ^" x: J$ c5 u+ L. H$ S
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills6 N2 G% |+ w+ _+ O4 [6 i
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
7 i! U/ R$ G1 Z2 @- l• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)$ _2 \* H& u0 r9 Q
