We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

/ m9 U4 B+ n" N: y9 D, E2 ^6 z• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries." ^* @$ }7 E6 v
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.! Z1 k% F0 |4 N
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible. G- y2 L/ P d+ S
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:/ U* p2 p9 e6 g) t% ~

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
. D( K$ s* [1 [• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study9 l. Q6 C2 ~4 Y* Q5 P4 i1 Q- E% L
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
$ k x# R/ c9 G3 a$ G• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
, C+ \. r- l5 S% {4 W: j• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
