Job Description:

: R/ t0 Z( |( Q& f2 n5 PModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
* v8 B0 O% [) o$ ~/ G8 w* l+ mEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
- Y( z1 |! g& {/ y3 S  jArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
& c9 Z  B4 |# s# S$ C" w2 |Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
% p8 H6 `5 j& @! u4 m( H2 Q# XPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
% G2 n+ a" m; y; `4 k# @5 B7 `1 HCapable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
  w' K, Z5 ~' m; K# _8 R2 LWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
