Job Description:

  d( n  u: j7 G4 ]3 ^  p+ QPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
- Q& J3 h" t7 {3 M0 T* q+ q, q6 MEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
$ ?7 `% d2 }5 G" r* V  |* F! TSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
' |( _: l% h* E& cRectify arising problems or complaints
7 g7 e; {: W3 |8 aGive prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
( Z! g0 H) U& n3 l! k+ p1 NWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
