We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
: R2 s3 J6 n# }0 y- u! p" o• Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
# ?% P% S. ?7 Q+ O9 _& c- R8 H• Prepare CaseWare working paper files, ; B; J* K& I7 ]7 {9 g% \
• Prepare financial statements : X7 F/ N* N9 x
• Prepare corporate tax returns
: R4 y5 p, h' A$ }3 P• File GST returns " t- T) D6 p* X+ ?( r% v* L
• Process payroll6 P5 p1 n# N' }
• File T4/T5 returns / ?* L, Y2 _" P
• Prepare personal tax returns # N3 W0 z* S( L, I
• Communication with our clients and government agencies + E& y( e% D3 ?' T6 q) y1 H
) B8 T- `1 _4 A
The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel. ) e5 x: ?# j1 x+ E4 r
$ m8 _) Y5 R* x/ J, j$ t% |Consideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.
