LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

& L9 K4 R  f; sRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
% `/ ]$ t+ J+ W/ Y' g   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
$ ^2 @! v* ]+ D  N- }, E9 v   o Microsoft Operations Manager
. ~+ j) V9 ]* r8 g- ]8 I- o$ o   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
7 v. H& u' W1 H- }* ]' W  Z3 m   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
/ Q) C. a, c+ N" e- M2 H• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
2 o" {. e# q9 q) p+ t' {% MSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

& k: s5 j% k, O1 {" h, ESKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
- b9 b  L* W9 h- |- I• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
  Q. h, n/ J7 w• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
% i' S; p- |/ h: F• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
* M8 r0 w7 e& y6 c   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)

   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus

• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
$ W- [' s# c! v* A, `" G5 N• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
; E1 s6 |3 F% ?0 M9 }% s7 l5 @• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
7 u/ R( c7 v4 p8 ]2 ]2 j. q7 A: A; _• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
