LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

' x+ H3 v0 g; H! W: ~! _1 r9 U0 w- V- GSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
& w& a: [" x& [& k   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
9 }. c( S2 i3 W   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
2 x1 |' U& h# @& ?! [$ }7 u   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
2 w# `5 d: V. |9 w8 ^* q! j   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
5 c' u; s, j# J% s  M; w) l1 W7 W# }   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
( d2 U+ _1 Q' d3 h• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
! N+ i7 Z) L. A- `6 k• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
' G8 V  f! c% S9 ?2 @! y• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
) S: V7 \: S; T, N6 T0 g• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)

: d; _$ F, t+ C: \# D* n   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
* ]$ z- b# f# L; k+ S1 y   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
* v( V, N2 {1 v: ~. V   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
" e) E# L7 o3 K% m) O- D4 K, g/ k• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
