In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

+ P* j/ |+ \+ rLead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
4 q% n  u" `2 u. Q' QAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
3 D/ t& g7 k  [5 pAchieve and maintain accreditation standards
Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
Be accountable for decision and actions
Mitigate risk to the organization.
Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
+ H0 j4 g7 o$ A• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
# t1 l  X- t- `9 O' dExperience:

  T: C6 q  |! l( K4 r7 D5 c1 \( zDemonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
( `% t% \( r$ [* U( [Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.

; K, Q) u3 D5 ~, ?- D' w8 U
Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).
/ `. W5 }7 E1 c/ d
5 j3 t/ r, G; R( lCurrent or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
! i) i" E# M+ k$ {5 s  m$ J. e2 L! [Maintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
Center objectives.
