The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.( T7 _4 H1 g( n. k3 M: S9 P3 A9 F

1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:

2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page:9 p5 k l( `4 m/ Q: q% O

3. Click on 'Search by Street Address':- g/ N; }/ e* \3 c

4. Enter the address in the fields at the top right and hit the 'Find' button:4 x' H! v: A$ w" B: q9 ^4 \

: z: F% ?7 Q" ~0 n5 c: Z8 J+ ^5. This will bring up the rough area on the map. From here you may have to navigate around using the north, east, south and west buttons. There is also a zoom button at the top left:

8 c7 m& {' O; @) q6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:

7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':

( ^7 B! |5 g, u4 h+ a; G8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:
