The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.

$ X, W% Y( x9 P* y1 l) f" t7 J1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:

2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page: N3 G; h/ e6 X% A

5. This will bring up the rough area on the map. From here you may have to navigate around using the north, east, south and west buttons. There is also a zoom button at the top left:

. x$ o+ ?6 ^- S, }* f- \$ s6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:

) B) E& T" Z) T7 E7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':1 o. `. _1 O" a; D9 a2 a& R$ c

0 K7 D3 \9 x0 U$ v+ e. y* b8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:
