Essential Responsibilities:$ Z+ Q$ q E- i- M0 o& {
5 V6 l" n8 r7 C( l( U q, O- I8 O: Y1 IPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.7 _8 b+ N; z# ?3 F2 Y
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
* \4 [' H: B1 J( J* IRead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
! X5 Z$ M" c$ gCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.7 P( A; h. G3 R) j9 \
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications& k8 i1 s! v1 q% n9 I+ g# @, W
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.0 c# H3 g* |1 Z" p* ~+ [
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.% o" q3 Z* P2 j/ Z8 t0 |0 k+ l
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
4 L3 W4 V6 G0 N. KCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences! S8 A2 r. L$ B/ d9 e7 h
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution6 r# u4 z! Y# z0 I# @" W7 E; }1 l
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed7 H" o' b5 J0 b1 M/ ~. W$ A* }: M
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
" t, F3 F" V6 ]: J9 G# X' u3 Y, @Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
" C! k: y) n7 \: \Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed5 G: L6 C: u$ O! _
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing4 T; a& @. s- ?* }
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure
% u% N) Q+ H1 ]' VOccasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
5 {( d; e7 t' a. d6 _5 eTwo to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
4 P1 D' U0 P: {' z) p" k$ _Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)
; M3 p. G9 K+ I* n$ _Experience interpreting process control documents.) T! X. [1 |! V
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities% i: b: R5 [0 S% g: B
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards5 u) G& {& }4 u1 o. z' M/ |& E
Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies

Understanding of hydraulics and fundamentals of fluid mechanics and previous experience with water treatment systems5 v& M, X" K) ]# X4 z+ e
Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
+ `& R) e* X* W+ U6 AMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)* q5 }: G) `) F V6 E& G" L+ u
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment
?: T4 p, w4 ~" r5 Q. E' yAbility to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents, _2 K0 m" v; V" p& X
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision
