PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
r" g% F" V; xConfiguration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.; x# _) P! g9 @) s+ u
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.3 }8 B9 D( D8 T6 F8 T/ s: U" |2 [
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
) ]" t F( l; @2 ?* |) a& S; j, xInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications i5 J3 u- N- E$ K/ E; U. f$ s
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.3 { S+ i4 f7 H. N/ n! [
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.- J) {1 C3 V1 x2 I
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed9 A# v* N0 M( q( n5 _5 L
Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences8 P5 Y8 C) w4 [& b4 m. ]) D
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
) z# q w- j; sWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed) u& D' j3 d6 M2 s
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
! T; \+ W& C' g* G8 c7 s# ?Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)8 \! A7 V* E7 M. K! n' ]/ [
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed t" ?5 R* M/ s2 e* T9 c/ f$ z4 L
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing
; ` |& |0 F. t* |2 jLead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure6 s6 p; d3 B R! d* T/ i
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College3 Z0 s. r( x2 W& Y5 R
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.7 | R, i8 ]4 y7 E5 e: S
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)1 h3 m0 }3 W% i2 w$ _
Experience interpreting process control documents.3 I; V1 [+ I) c. S; j* ~
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities0 x# s5 ^1 d$ A: m3 }9 v) H
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
1 v( |! b/ n4 C o, n+ ^& JKnowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
4 d- h; m# L1 y5 E1 z- I2 d% zMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)
; Q9 O% a b! p2 ~' x6 O+ k* uElectrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment
& j3 C* o7 t' s; _Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents
* r4 b U) D9 Y% x& CAbility to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision3 \5 c- f9 ^7 Y7 W
