PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
* j7 n; J2 D* C8 a6 w1 _: J7 @Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
: X) S, }4 ~" QRead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
' c: d0 @9 N( c& T& {* ?Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.! M) |( r6 r1 @6 i8 V
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications; {* z: z% E- y* K: \! |& f
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
H9 u$ R; ]' _Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.% \2 `. a9 T5 Q* J1 t
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
& O" t! G6 T" K+ @2 Y5 hCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences! w% Q0 V, u' J/ _! f
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution5 T; w3 D4 X& t, w6 Z: ~
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed: P& n. }9 c' V: A
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
% p: M1 B+ a; _* F( E" GExecute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
. u! u- \/ w3 Y/ m2 S3 uParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
& N5 E5 R8 S: s ~$ eWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing1 U$ H0 F- u) T9 R4 l; m, X% b+ _
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure9 }$ f! [; d" ~+ M" k; M* R% Y
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College" Q( [, b1 o8 u& a) P( K$ f
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
5 n9 g! m$ K0 s8 X" d! ^ _7 XAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)

Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies

Understanding of hydraulics and fundamentals of fluid mechanics and previous experience with water treatment systems

& t6 f! c9 u2 k, SMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)6 ?8 a& ?: U0 Q8 \. k3 W
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment/ n6 G& l* o* E1 m2 \/ q; V8 E
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents. c) t) r2 Y) z
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision
