This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

' e. k! y" ?' E# b( w, z$ i' kThe procurement officer is responsible for:
4 R: J" ]/ N% M5 e  ^) I  W-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
7 B) l4 f2 h4 b-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
  p4 a' x; `! p' c$ z: e% b+ Z-        Building and managing supplier relationships
2 d4 S9 Q6 h- _! d0 e-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
0 |9 x2 u2 n/ q8 g7 Q( a
8 o* ]. R& Q) \Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
# e; |( ^) F$ J; U! a7 d- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
: ^* h- x  d: R- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- r7 ]% h1 q' K5 I# }- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
