This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
# V) Q$ r$ }+ F" g4 h-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
  ]4 w- v  D$ L$ @* ?0 j* x8 I-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
: }; O" D& \& d, l- `-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
: S2 O/ u4 V, x  O4 Z
Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
# n0 f* M- ?7 u/ x7 S- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
2 u* P- R" B3 U# O6 b: H* G- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
9 n! V* k( R- W$ n& l! `- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
