CAC is seeking for a full-time procurement officer to join our team.

  C  ]7 X1 O" l9 uThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

% p* P) B. L  W6 A. R1 YThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
8 Z2 }) x9 s: ?4 x-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
7 T, k. l; @. q! r4 J' ?, B- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
( Q$ {: Z& F. K- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
( f: `' P1 @0 F' Z- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
