" u, M3 _2 ~6 |$ E. ?8 v9 a) _- WThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

: W8 w( u5 P0 d( e9 V) H5 c9 I6 LThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
7 v' l5 T! l$ r. p-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
7 U3 U, T$ f6 j: E-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
# I$ a$ A+ O) _8 _8 _' M6 O- x-        Building and managing supplier relationships
1 v$ x# H; a$ w' p  j-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
  \2 X7 C) ]9 a1 `: p8 A/ p
  S) I3 }+ j1 i3 g9 ^Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
' ^( Y" `7 t: S" \0 }- Strong organization and time management skills
/ O- _' U" l8 c+ {& w- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
: o) h: w* m5 i0 v$ d$ Z9 Q- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
/ {4 Z1 L1 C5 E! _0 _; B6 ^3 ~* |- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
* S+ K2 c# n3 T7 Q- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
