CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

' [% E$ N# {5 ~# D5 z! ?/ lResponsibilities:
) f+ O; N0 ?- v' S( x9 x" q  w•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
6 ~( t( T3 J2 |) m•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
7 N1 U6 ?- c- P* n•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
( p* x, |0 ~' V& p•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
$ l3 ^4 j6 D+ u  z$ ]•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
# f$ V+ ~6 l; l- a7 J1 Y•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- }  {" s$ [5 a, t, Y( b4 a8 Q' m2 ^•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
