MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
5 K+ u1 P  Q' G2 y; U# b( ?Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
; f) W% t, P# T% x1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
/ g( [* ]$ m! X1 B+ |5 N' [4. Calibration of Equipment
( w; L; y( D5 q: [. [5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
, p( l* l" z6 u3 Z! x6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
0 o2 ~; s6 l* H- JSkills and specifications:
1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
- t  g# b; v: \  D/ L4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
