请问精打细算, how do you think about buying US government Gold Coin???

艺术品，纪念币等都是非常高风险，高回报的投资，往往比期货还要危险。很多时候找不到买主。可是，当有人要买，价格嘛......

...that's not 艺术品，纪念币, that's gold... the "face value" is 5 USD, but the buying cost is 75 CAD+GST

the value of gold in it is definatly less than CAD75+GST if you melt them and sell as gold.

The value added potion of this is what we call, collectors value.

And Collector's value, is how we term them as 艺术品，纪念币

remember, this is not bond nor T-Bill. The US government have no obligation to buy them back from you.

only until you found another collector that have interest and willing to buy at higher value from you. Until that moment, it's just another piece of collection coin in your cabinet...
