CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

* C& G/ b- s" b/ x· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

- P: a* v4 d0 m1 E  ?; A· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
3 C5 a+ V- O; P: w) v$ K9 s% ~3 C
  Y# F- j; @+ b: h0 u0 S· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

9 g* y% p5 X" R" T* ^1 ?· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner

) @+ |8 n0 r7 ?) y5 l. O1 d* b· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

7 ~! [3 ?! y: J6 T7 _: B2 O· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

& F- l  f) F& K· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

, ]; O1 I- t% G0 v' ?· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

# m, F' a1 [2 ?7 g& a· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
