CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

' ?0 {  V4 `6 Y2 p· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
* C5 G1 [8 ~% m5 v" \% x+ R/ B
8 }4 r  \: _9 Z: x( W" o( n· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
- \% w- }% M: ]7 X6 Q7 A
· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

3 l5 A3 Z4 Y( d' z· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
! M- L7 j/ \0 A5 X' E* ^Qualifications and Training Requirements

! v& L/ `# O2 g  m" l- X· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

9 u" ^* {! o: W. E% r· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

% z5 [* d8 c! P$ p2 n/ R· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

9 f$ X5 Y7 P# ]! X% `0 F) O· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
