The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.! `; A( J; G( t I1 ~& ~

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials$ l. v+ C# q* r& k u( a, D
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material! a" ?# f0 R7 Q( \3 X+ s
Must be able to work safely at all times+ g9 j& m( n6 m7 R' R
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently! j, z: y3 L: p0 {$ @
Performs routine housekeeping.( M4 m: ?- f1 {1 j" F% c$ o
Observes and reports any safety issues! I: h3 i: }) b& _$ X& o8 M5 }0 O

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly! F9 b. W5 J, d" x- z
Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
+ L9 x; _! l) [# R6 ]. K6 VHigh school diploma (Or GED)
( O; L9 @: t* C* J( E* ZWell-articulated and assertive
/ u/ G6 H7 ?# I0 P# a0 F( J- GAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization& L3 A6 ^) a3 V, }' H6 l- B
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
