1 d% S3 A8 L( yThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:) l7 y8 b. j' d; j5 z

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
" g+ Y8 N! z+ }5 Q( c9 J& s0 ZInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
# I) U! F# |! JLoads and unloads non-ferrous material5 z* j9 f. r* m& i* X
Must be able to work safely at all times
: w8 _; G, X' b" ~2 [$ B. fBe able to effectively perform tasks independently2 e( `9 E1 o; m3 l! l) l- ~
Performs routine housekeeping.& B7 D4 v6 Y0 [7 i( A1 j# [
Observes and reports any safety issues

High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization3 W& G- G& e1 F% o

Ability to write simple correspondence
