Job Summary:
( B z9 p9 v, w i5 c( g& zThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials4 w3 W# J: ^$ _% z& s* F
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials# N) [, ^; f' t+ _" S& G
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material" W0 i2 a5 L, Q6 X+ z/ W
Must be able to work safely at all times) A$ f9 G+ F3 [* Z
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently& X5 X) m0 I. V8 D( R; Q8 `) V
Performs routine housekeeping.: Y3 }4 b8 P/ Y( l! o. ?
Observes and reports any safety issues p( R+ a0 B4 x7 ?

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
% U4 x( Q7 M; F$ F: S* cKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
2 Z+ p' ]: T: P$ }High school diploma (Or GED)
5 c( B- L9 N, @. @7 c1 pWell-articulated and assertive
. H% }! ?- z& I9 E$ n! Z) VAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization& \; e/ N5 p- K" F9 j5 `$ O
