Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
' [  c9 n* n% r! A* M0 o5 Yfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
1 U; ^" N4 G) s, b6 o% A  kinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
! i2 i5 l9 v% h. x  J* v3 B  m. Ecompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
, X5 L# `; C' I  @* b* P8 m- Manalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
: @0 f% z" u3 s' M4 P0 Fof a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
" E  t' i' X  s! ?7 k- mand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
