Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
% P9 V' Z0 e0 P1 w3 n9 |$ Ctechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
: J' O8 ~( r2 Y9 q1 R3 ycompounds by chromatography.

# w/ ]5 c$ ], SQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
) c# ?! U6 X( uChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
. R. ^! B" w7 e* z$ Qseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
