The University of Alberta - Department of Chemistry is currently

9195.  

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
$ _- A2 F, L$ B& Jfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.
3 G! l; @; R* D6 u! l$ y
Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
4 Q+ U, e4 X) G) S' A" WChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
0 S$ v7 e% b5 ^# u  t' {9 G2 Ganalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
