Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at( j3 G# w5 r' q2 q

venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
' n( M5 g, ~* W" s A, s3 q3 Retc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for b T+ M" y* _0 N+ r8 o4 r- ]& v7 Z
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and& A) p. \; \" b* M
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
7 a( B6 Z0 s. H5 x: Qtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,: L5 n2 I& B9 E, ?' N/ N) U
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
) \2 Z# y) s7 k9 \8 i8 hvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
r; {: ^' p- }7 S( Q" B |outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city/ `& x8 N- z; }9 F+ ]+ D
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night4 d5 Q3 z2 Z2 F' E, H3 w- a- q0 b
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or) \9 B+ b4 Q3 F$ J B a% T
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

; n9 r+ J; W$ Q( K5 @; f' }Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate: _$ C/ y' T0 q( @2 @* A2 }
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,3 Z/ `" |% V o$ p+ x
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake: z5 Q* W; B- j I& ?
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those: k# e/ ]; c B( r3 k; r% s
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management" }. |# n6 W4 Y! B
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
