一般室内20多度，很多人穿单衣，我也穿单衣。但是有些住house的人舍不得烧，室内较冷，这种情况也存在。

House = 别墅, independent home with a yard and garage
apartment=公寓,a suite in the building

house就是国内的平房，在加拿大是有钱人住的。

If you have a job, family income>=30,000/year, you definitely can buy a house. Actually, 80% of family have a house. Very normal in Canada.
