procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, 7 y3 d. ^) T4 b7 N9 z
cleanliness and order in the bar.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:$ A5 M6 s# _3 V* u7 D
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and + ~' i8 {7 F: g
beverage items.
) _& f4 `7 D) v5 p( o* z8 N+ U: U N+ Y
# I7 t- e' U+ W% a3 b+ u2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
$ \2 R: B% c3 e* ]1 g! Lbar and debit floats." N' [- T: P8 u! U3 @' N1 [
0 E1 z' ?0 b* {0 x: T. g+ x# t3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of 3 t5 V* \ U+ X; {1 C0 k4 c
each shift, and upon closing.4 w7 R! a l! o1 D
5 I3 Z9 U! m3 R4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular ( m2 u5 ]7 e" Z X
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
$ K) z$ u: R7 J6 |- g% I tseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in % Q1 w' H4 `8 [9 H
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
7 J2 T2 v7 M, H, l8 r7 dproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.& Z7 n% L j$ ?
9 s0 d" X6 q% _6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
5 o- s1 c6 y5 h% S& gmonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a
U% j& p$ e* w3 N0 u9 G. Ehigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in * X$ g* H3 A8 }
accordance with Students' Union policies.

high standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.4 J! S5 z% K' K% y

2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
