Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 3 [; P. N: J* _% x4 {2 D
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,
9 `3 o! O( |0 Z: rcleanliness and order in the bar.8 c" k# o7 }% |* B9 U: x
9 E" @" F8 G$ J# Y& E n1 H- ~1 XDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:) W! e* `, ?2 v, O) J
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and
3 b8 p* P' O' _ k: X! K5 Tbeverage items.

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the % Q' d: C5 H" J( J1 i
bar and debit floats.8 ]8 D6 |% A3 C
( w' O! {# R0 ^" j/ |3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of # O) x( I* q6 A" \
each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular 9 \7 m" i. }+ w4 Z
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
6 f6 D2 L4 @5 Pseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

: Z, u. q" o' a& a& d5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
`1 q' E; [$ e% @+ w/ y' Nstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
; B1 w+ B6 F( t4 rproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.

2 l% g; R7 `4 t2 G6 I' P" g6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
6 R1 |/ F/ U9 o. l( i' e( Vmonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a
$ J2 i- q+ ^( E9 c$ Y: T$ X% _& W. nhigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in T* j/ {, j* D, H" U
accordance with Students' Union policies.

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

QUALIFICATIONS:# L5 v5 j7 v1 V, ~) J% U. x
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

1 r. w1 Q0 `% g, V7 ?0 u) G2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume : p" x% x( w0 ]+ `* z" G
operation.
# H4 c) n/ C6 A+ t" N
( o. P v8 B' I( N3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
2 M6 i5 W7 w. [% B$ Z) |3 Taccordance with Students' Union policy.

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.

5) Ability to interact effectively with all customers and Students´
