JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the & q" T, V4 O; Y# Q8 e& a# ^
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 5 y3 ] l$ ]5 |5 H* B% V& G7 D
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ e1 r5 h. t! i# U( Z0 z8 ~# c9 `% e1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and ( u9 ^$ A: d* v5 Z) b; U* }
beverage items.) g: {- {5 P& h/ n

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
+ [5 z9 K m t& n: fbar and debit floats.

4 ^* G2 [+ k; [0 q3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of
4 c. @: M' O" C; A+ v, D/ ]each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
- H2 {# [7 V$ |( H% c' Battention to areas used by customers including bar counters and : @; T# q/ N3 {
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces. S4 {/ m6 F+ \' V9 h: W+ s# v6 [: p

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in 3 I: a h- G7 j+ p; b1 B1 z; j
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol 5 }1 |. l9 k* `! c9 _6 Y; q
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.

. F) V; I8 ^/ q0 d: ^6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close 9 ~: I8 a, u* W0 R6 g! a
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a 8 S# Z( D* j, T1 T3 Z) R1 F+ _
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in & n$ [9 v/ X( X2 R, \' o/ L
accordance with Students' Union policies.

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a
, v- R- K4 K2 F6 ahigh standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

4 }. V5 `6 ]5 c0 k' F8 o( S2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
