. r* s# Z! X# H$ DJOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the
# X4 L8 W" e3 \" IOperations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the - ~0 I- S, f% w/ X
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,

1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and % @* v3 L* W. x, x
beverage items. y& X+ x8 h% e4 c( H/ ~
4 u8 Y$ ?- c2 T# l2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
# D- g7 i" G: a. mbar and debit floats.

: p0 X" L# @! b5 S. I7 _4 }3 N' t& N3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular * W% l. T" C, h6 e# H
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and ) l7 d7 }( H. K9 f$ z
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.* L! Z# F8 ^) n" O
7 G0 {5 r1 E, v2 i5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in , C6 a' l2 h" V7 v1 x' X2 m
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
$ J7 K: ^4 g2 f0 d9 l- A: aproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.0 v% m9 D( b& T

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close 0 b7 Q# Z7 e! C# R( M, u' A: J4 `
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a
y5 d! B' K1 T1 |# v# Shigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
( L; I; Y, ]. A: e. {* X$ z0 X+ Faccordance with Students' Union policies.+ W# W6 L9 x9 G

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

operation.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in 8 w! ?: H" G7 N9 q7 u

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
