ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

Community Initiatives Documenter* r% h- { c- w0 p
The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.8 S9 ]5 R* |0 b8 A: I

1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement./ [) E- g" M+ C* V4 l+ K2 I. H& Z
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.. c2 D }) e: O( S* L" ^- ?
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
