1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. & F7 M7 ~# t- n+ R- a% b( ]
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
5 c/ L3 l: U/ D% p3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
' U5 w0 L/ ?0 h2 x ]% \# F2 W9 r/ P) M& R' z+ p
1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
/ f# Z1 x0 {: H/ C2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.. Y$ B% Q, q; C
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. " M6 I6 J! a2 n$ f8 j; F3 Q
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
