; b& F5 f- u6 _6 R% [9 L1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. 0 g# S8 Q5 ~" a3 D
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.

. W/ O3 U5 M9 z" vPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

7 Y" @, E/ X5 E) ?* I1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
8 m2 C- F; Y4 g- t+ W" }2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.; N0 d2 w H5 r; w: a% N0 r
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. G; P5 E# _ S, _7 C: R
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.0 `9 D: I1 I5 i
5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. $ M% G! C1 y' V- b( D" G
6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
