! U: `5 z% p# K" U, gJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
: b! V( x- y" `' d4 p+ C: R7 E(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
) g' J/ p* q: V1 z* |# lpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
4 M9 J1 |$ @, g$ }$ A; m/ p( r% fand are University affiliated.
# F2 A( h4 M% G  |- E9 E9 T, S
' T6 c+ c/ O/ K( e: Y1 C7 ]2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
: N: ^9 B) m' J
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
$ V  Z" `# _3 l: s. u& y* \of garbage.

* O0 @6 L* R* I) u6 Q2 a  i4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
! w) y5 h0 a& B5 Q% X5 s- G4 R9 qconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  S/ m# O( m3 I2 T" r' j5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.
" g5 _2 c' X1 K1 H' d1 L& a# ~
& B. a& o/ ]8 x# l, x/ N0 X( T& E6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
8 u  N$ G: E6 X( VManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
) n% u$ F$ T. `
' d7 z! @8 Z4 h* `2 F2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
$ W* x( M3 c0 v; vof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
, |* v7 o# x. ^; Bcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

& Q( i" _; X. a) W" a4) Must be physically capable.

6 F. x0 {0 o/ b/ v5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
