DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
  ?: n: m0 V/ l! U- g$ ]3 band are University affiliated.

7 x0 ]7 G8 H  m0 Z/ q- L1 W2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

9 R* }6 K3 h" [: u7 K8 I3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
! o! d7 Z4 f# R. y
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

, x* G! S- {2 |' J1 U8 u% N1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

/ c# e  D; ]5 `2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
- N: c! g& r1 W5 M; r; K& C, |calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.
