DOORPERSON (RATT)

, h* j! K  w2 ^" E; X, QJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
' Y4 s" F4 q  T/ Wpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

/ _0 {. D; j% Q" J3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
0 }7 D( x; {% Q# Q* s& ^, ]; v9 w3 U1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
6 O; H9 E8 w1 i: B" k7 v* b- J
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

: H8 K' `- e: q* e4) Must be physically capable.

! U! x( ?5 A7 O9 ?+ |% _& j5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
