! C5 R! R: Z, q: vJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
% ^4 Y8 N1 V+ t% g2 a(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
! l; n1 G# b7 z& e1 Sand are University affiliated.
% W& ?  |& c/ J; _) D& M
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

7 p% s- K! d6 M3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
- c, x& O& H7 o) I; C: O' D( j$ p: J
6 c6 i. `1 x5 c. }3 s4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
5 `5 r6 T+ l) q# Dconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

$ i7 F3 f; i- |0 w2 S: k7 M5 m3 u6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
! b: B' o9 r5 K# o1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
4 z/ ^4 k5 D) a3 C! Y0 j- p6 ^  R
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
4 [3 `8 c( p6 ~8 W" r( Iof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
3 z- y; w0 U+ Y( t  S7 }calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

2 `; E- @9 y7 B3 G4 F# C3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
) Y- W+ Z, Z* \! H5 X2 w' D9 v8 \
4) Must be physically capable.
; r9 t$ ^- h6 v
5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
  O: V1 [* S/ \public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
