JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Returning Officer reports to the President of

# I B& Z+ K# }& M# E' K. F2000. The Chief Returning Officer shall be recommended to Students' ; H- Q! G y, g$ ~
Council in the manner set out in the Council Administration Committee

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing

across campus, and advertising the poll locations.

10) To be available to all parties during elections/referenda for a ) Q5 w; ^! F4 A d' x% W
minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday,

8 q8 P; W K5 f) }7 j% ]" Eof voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.

2 L* e ~: S4 ]' }. \* a7 I11) To act as the arbitrator in any dispute which may arise during

12) To ensure that a cost effective and accurate ballot counting

of activities and recommendations.

14) To organize a minimum of one (1) forum to be held during the week

for each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students'

2) Must have some experience in student elections.( |9 T4 [$ E$ j( x- l$ T: D$ L' s) K
$ c- E+ q; w# g3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or * R( {9 y7 d. P0 [( t
any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position

4) Willingness and ability to work varying hours.

5) Excellent project management skills are required.
