the Students' Union and oversees all electoral logistics as per Bylaw

Council in the manner set out in the Council Administration Committee

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:( O% r' S' e1 M, X5 u! g8 ~

1) To run the elections as per Bylaws 2000

2) To run referenda/plebiscites as per Bylaw 2000.

& l7 m6 Y. p0 N M. x3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing

of voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.

11) To act as the arbitrator in any dispute which may arise during ( Q9 r* T7 F @ I/ a2 c
the course of an election/referendum.

of activities and recommendations.

14) To organize a minimum of one (1) forum to be held during the week 5 d# Z+ ?7 Z/ |( E+ f3 s: T

QUALIFICATIONS:. u0 ? m4 e+ m4 C" w
& f( z" v- E6 H/ ?3 F" `1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course
8 _ ]% `9 y& ]+ S" pfor each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students'
# n3 Y5 D# q* K# O* I1 \Union member.

2) Must have some experience in student elections.

3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or . I' N/ \3 M! Q! _
any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position

5) Ability to deal effectively with Students' Union and University
