JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Returning Officer reports to the President of & Q1 A* C5 G/ X& Q# J
the Students' Union and oversees all electoral logistics as per Bylaw

Standing Orders by April 15 and serve from May 1 to April 30 of the ) A8 ^4 P9 V6 j% }; m* n; d
year following their appointment.

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing

5) To oversee the physical count of the ballots during elections/

6) To report the result of an election/referendum to the appropriate 6 \/ u# s' Y, n, F

referendum.

To enforce budgetary regulations as stipulated in the Elections ( x6 l- `$ g7 Z5 y# z

minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday,

5 q1 C, o! h2 g7 o Dof voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.

12) To ensure that a cost effective and accurate ballot counting

13) To submit to Students' Council, prior to April 30, a final report

of campaigning.

QUALIFICATIONS:( E; n$ T, L+ r+ B6 D( \
4 k6 Z {! @) a& L' q6 w1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course % f N% K, _$ X1 [/ u- V
for each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students' & c1 A' ~5 g( \2 q5 l$ T

2) Must have some experience in student elections.

3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or * d5 @+ L% W2 ], z- p Y4 c: C1 [3 _9 w d
any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position 0 @% A2 T7 y y: L
