Operating Assistant-SUBtitles (Permanent and Fulltime)

JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
Operations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
fulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
effective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 C" u8 |7 \6 R2 @1 l1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
4 N  J  k0 w* {$ CRetail in the training of part time staff

2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
ensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements
) [* B* Y+ p* u% K; E+ x
3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
4 s$ d4 J/ V( I% g0 \) F" b2 vRetail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured
# v: H# ~0 ^: t8 P. ]4 b
4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
various shifts as per store hours
5 c6 @; s8 q' g9 q* X& F. U! w
5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
/ C* u9 x" h: _* [orders for external custom order clients

6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

7)             Provide a high level of customer service

6 S1 j3 R4 B+ Z- X7 ~$ k8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
date with regards to consignment data

SUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
Operations Manager-Retail

QUALIFICATIONS;
+ B* p; x1 T7 V5 A5 Q: N1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent

- V  N. \- k( V* j2)             Post secondary education would be an asset

, G6 N! o  C+ D, J3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset

. I3 j3 |5 \" h5 h2 ]- }: r4)             Strong organizational skills

5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to

6)             Knowledge of computer operations

7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a

8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public

Salary:            $1864/month - under negotiation
Shift:            Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
