JOB SUMMARY:

The University of Alberta Students´ Union has been contracted by the  & y3 }+ E' v  f7 J
Responsible Hospitality Edmonton panel to implement a campaign  4 f( i& j- C+ S9 A; |; v
targeting the issue of violence on Whyte Avenue.  As a Brand  6 j# p1 B( N. l" ~( m& g( V
Ambassador, you will be part of a 5-person promotions team that will  5 p/ d: R& l1 M3 j6 Y
communicate our campaign messaging and distribute branded giveaways  + W1 e" s, Z6 O1 }, H$ L( i' \5 n
to patrons in and around nightclubs on Whyte Avenue*.  For this part- : \9 L) z9 C4 N& g
time, temporary position we are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing,  : O" e6 [( o8 t2 e) y. ?6 R+ y0 P5 O
friendly, and sociable individuals who are comfortable in an  # O& W& T  H' Q) T
energetic nightlife environment.

' Y- i0 D+ I! L+ F& oDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

0 |* x2 s# C4 D9 gnot a Fighter" campaign in and around bars and nightclubs on Whyte  0 V/ H, P7 X& X/ t+ G. B4 r

2)             Approach patrons in and around bars and nightclubs on  
! n4 Y1 j* J7 |4 X0 sWhyte Avenue* to discuss the issue of violence.
# X6 L5 B8 X! g( c. f
9 L7 O) A! Q4 V3)             Communicate campaign messaging to patrons regarding  
, y, W' P) T6 w3 J6 jviolence on Whyte Avenue*.

$ B# i5 ?& c+ A1 _0 v4)             Assist in the implementation (including: distribution,

mediums for the campaign.

1)             Must be at least 18 years of age.

2)    The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, outgoing,  / X4 v+ g) }, k, n* ~. ?
friendly, and sociable.

. s! \9 l, b- S- s' L; q1 {3)    Must be comfortable in a nightclub environment.

4)    Must have strong verbal communication skills.

Remuneration:            $30.00 / hour

following time on each of the following days:

Training Session: Successful candidates will be required to attend a

Application Deadline: The initial application deadline is 4pm, Monday
