tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to

The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at

2 E* p& L8 A$ G) M4 Ktheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2
5 e2 F! c6 m* }$ x% c$ @
: j, ?* N( r5 h; ^instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
1 N# d$ H" s; J2 R( ~" h. B# G  o- @the
5 a: h6 [9 X* B- xCantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
- B7 X% H1 ]; nAchievements
+ ^6 `% b% i0 H7 hin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

7 h' g' p# r7 b; b- dperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to

crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
