JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- 1 c# m) C- A8 ~* `
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
# t ~% z, z0 U8 m) ~! K9 O! Y6 YSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects : h6 H9 H1 d2 P, S* Q& ]( I
of Course Pack production., y w# M- a9 ?" a( E

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
& V4 E% t G; _8 l! \* Y1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning ) K. u5 [/ l Z
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing." ^) |0 L! k8 v# {
% X' o$ y6 ^! h# X5 h7 E
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
9 {( V" i6 K; W& dprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.8 b+ V6 U/ u; \5 }/ j
- m; j7 M' T( e0 M. U9 Y3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
& ]0 P. A! a3 n' C5 xcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and . e, H g' p+ u% r8 ]; r/ [
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment / ^/ H: t4 p: ~- b
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

& E; v0 |) T8 y- _5 C3 {$ a% {3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.1 c% R4 k. t' l$ s
* v# q5 L+ v* R$ {4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
