Wow. In edmonton, if we're talking about academics, then it is definitely going to be in the following order

, `; m8 w. m, z/ d; ?9 FStrathcona is more known for being a "jock" school - in other words, very athletic. It was also more populated with caucasians... I don't know if that's changed in the last 4/5 years... maybe there are more asians there now? Don't know.

Anyways, besides Strathcona being well known for sports, I have never really heard of it being well known for other attributes... Yes there is an AP program, but as far as I know, IB (as offered by Harry Ainlay) is still more renowned. Also... Harry Ainlay has a french immersion program. :)

0 u; Q$ f# G9 Z" e% m) q+ ZVic Comp used to be attractive for "artsy students", but now, the new Lillian Osbourne has taken its ranks for being an artsy school...7 _# }( H4 T: ^) C! V7 z4 \

+ Z! |! d9 r/ w! PLike I said, I graduated from high school a few years ago, maybe rankings have changed. But when I was in high school, this is what the schools I previously named above were well-known for. Hope this helped! |
