Mine is a hobby unit, small, about the size 8' X 8'; I built it myself, just a simple wood frame to which Lexan panels are attached; lower half is pressure treated plywood orientated with sterofoam in between for insulation purpose. A small furnace is installed for winter. However, because of my limited experience, the outcome is not quite satisfactory, needed to be improved in certain areas of the design; that is why I look forward to learn from people with expertise.  Are you close to Edmonton? would like to visit someday if you don't mind.

Yes, We live on the farm which is 161 achers but the greenhouse is not big. My husband is a teacher, he only works in the greenhouse in his free time. the greenhouse is also a wooden one. We live far away from Edmonton,  a very small town called Valleyview,  a little closer to Grande Praire. It's not convenient . But you are warmly welcome if you don't mind.

, a% q* ?# ]# wMaybe we can visit your greenhouse when we go to Edmonton. Anyway we often go there. My husband said Lexan panels which you used are more expensive than what he used, but yours are better quality and can last more years.

You are welcomed, but don't expect to see state-of-art craftsmanship, it is poorly built, anyway, feel free to PM me when you are coming. Yes the lexan are more expensive but it is UV resistant on one side hence more durable and have better R-value than glass.
