This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

+ J! T, t! d' y2 k' G: i, c; F3 q1) Worst: Cameron Heights
2 v- J: `5 O$ Z+ J0 S$ OMain entrance on AH

2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
Major roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

3) So So:  Magrath etc.
Main entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
Major roads on 2 sides

; x  `# Y. W/ p4 j. K4 Y( s4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
No Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

5) Best: Windermere Ridge
1 [7 p- X/ o  G5 L% lSame as 4.
+ all in one cul-de-sac
+ r* N' d, E3 {; N" s+ L7 S+ DC1/DC2 zoning
+ No condo in view
