This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

1) Worst: Cameron Heights
Main entrance on AH

, f- p  H1 p, v) {2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
Major roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)
" Z: {+ h  A# K7 K: a  P
3) So So:  Magrath etc.
; s( B* e  U+ A& w5 B/ D* x; iMain entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
Major roads on 2 sides
! ^$ ^+ N3 J( l6 N
4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
9 @% z1 M6 \; q( s+ l6 k7 m: S* lNo Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

5) Best: Windermere Ridge
Same as 4.
+ all in one cul-de-sac
+ DC1/DC2 zoning
6 G4 W  I9 D1 ^+ No condo in view
