This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

1) Worst: Cameron Heights

9 ^- d& u! I* ]2 G2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
  M3 k8 F5 J' ZMajor roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

1 V. ]9 x8 F+ q- j% }3) So So:  Magrath etc.
( \1 k0 i! V) z& bMain entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
8 Q1 b& G/ B9 ]$ }* EMajor roads on 2 sides
$ E) p" S, ^& m6 `; e* C, o
4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
4 m# l- f# g. v. f5 sMain entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
No Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

Same as 4.
+ all in one cul-de-sac
+ DC1/DC2 zoning
; O; U) t1 ]5 |5 V& N+ No condo in view
