这个operator工作entry level的时薪如果在大中城市大概25左右，EPCOR pay 的高些；小城市或小镇22-23吧。随后会随着你的证书level的提高而提高。

北面的否特麦克么瑞的一些净水和污水处理厂都是epcor 的。
英文是 water treatment 或者 wastewater treatment .
水处理厂都是日夜运行的，是倒班的。哪个厂都有女人做！！当地女人有，中国女人也有。如果是娇生惯养的大小姐，也许不适合！

epcor 现在在美国都有水厂，在fort mc 现在也有10几个水厂，主要是给石油公司的营地的工人和工作人员供水及处理生活污水。NAIT program 叫water and wastewater technician

我有个中国人同学就是女的，刚拿到卡尔加里市政的工作，我们班12个人有4个女生，我们水厂11个人有2个女的，我这里不上夜班，当然大水厂肯定要24小时有人的。

个人觉得，人只要能做到自己能力所及的就行了。一是多接触华人朋友，多了解信息；二是坚持学习-找工作这个总路线；三就是努力完成学业，争取做到最好。其他的就不是自己能左右的了，就看运气了。

个人觉得，人只要能做到自己能力所及的就行了。一是多接触华人朋友，多了解信息；二是坚持学习-找工作这个总路线；三就是努力完成学业，争取做到最好。其他的就不是自己能左右的了，就看运气了。

The Water and Wastewater Program teaches our students the fundamental skills necessary to work in water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection and wastewater treatment. Through a combination of theory, self study and hands on activities the students receive a balance of knowledge that prepares them for employment in their chosen field. Whether learning in our Edmonton or Calgary classrooms or from your chosen location utilizing our distance delivery courses your educational credentials are the same.

Streams and Options
THIS PROGRAM IS ONE YEAR IN LENGTH
The program starts in January of each year for Edmonton, the first semester is 17 weeks of study followed by a second semester consisting of four months of work experience, and concluding with a third semester of 15 weeks. The program also starts in September of each year for Calgary, the first two semester's consist of 16 weeks concluded by the third semester of four months of work experience.

建议改为study hard and work hard.一直主张还是要在加拿大“回回炉”，读点书，管它是长时短，否则工作还是很难找的。当然可以enjoy在麦当劳工作，但说实话，来加的中国人在国内都不是一般战士，真到这里打雷柏工就太可惜了。

入学要求很低（只需要高中成绩单和英文测试），比较容易上手，时间短，工资不低，工作好找。

如果想直接考证书，需要一年以上相关工作经验，不需要培训。换句话说，nait 发的只是个培训证书，不是行业协会发的证书，毕业后也要相关工作经验满一年才可以考。但没有NAIT的学习经历，作为中国人是很难入这个行业的，它就是块敲门砖。当然NAIT 的毕业证书对以后考更高的级别证书会缩短时间。比如考level 2需要level 1三年工作经验，而经过NAIT培训后1年后就可以考。

amiable 提供了比较详细的资料。的确是在爱城和卡城各有一个班，不同时间开学，我是在卡尔加里读的，那里一个班只有12个人， co-op在最后，爱城的班30个人，co-op在中间。两个班的co-op时间一样，都是在夏天， 5-8月份， NAIT提供雇主名单，我们自己和雇主联系，面试然后给offer, 和平时找工作一样，只不过NAIT已经提前和雇主联系过，比较有针对性，一般都能找到summer job。我不知道今年了，去年之前这个program是有funding的，读书不用掏钱，政府还给发生活费（3口人每月1700多free money)，即使co-op时有工资，政府的钱照发。天底下上哪去找这样的好事？不学习去打那labour工干嘛?差不多所有的program读下来工资都能翻番（与labour工比），也就是在阿尔伯塔能找到这样的好事。不要埋怨这里不如多伦多繁华，不若温哥华漂亮，这儿的实惠远远好于别处，没有工作那是啥滋味？现在我拿到工作了，才感觉加拿大的税真是高，但我乐意交，因为我困难的时候就是这些纳税人帮咱来的，等轮到自己了，哪有心疼的道理！以上啰里啰唆，不知说清楚与否. 以下是总结：
1、新移民首选落脚之地——埃德蒙顿，卡尔加里也行，但那里的钱不好申请；
2、坚定信心百折不挠学好英语，充分利用ESL funding 而不是去混钱；
3、选个工作前景好、自己不讨厌的program学下来；
4、找到工作，按章纳税，多帮助新来的困难的人群。
