I have 7 classmates in US, they come in US in 1982-1990, they took the computer master degree,
they had worked in big companies IT 精英, after 10 years, laid off, some one work in 美国state政府,
net, 公务员, data enter, simple job, they are the old than me, now between 54-60, I was the the smallest in my class. Now, no body work in IT field

如果你一直在用，应该下降得不会很厉害，那个岁数人家还当国家领导人呢，再大，的确就不行了。

我想了想，还有女的，就是数量上比较少。而很多这个年龄段还在工作的当地女性，基本上都混到管理层了。

if you always work in one company, no 跳槽, no lay off, maybe is possible. But, they were laid off, after
laid off, old person applied for other company, no employer would like to hire the old person.
No person quit this job, but laid off, no more 技术含量高.
GM,Ford, laid off many chinese, after laid off, they cann't take pay well job back.
For example, now you can work long term, but if you 跳槽, maybe the better, maybe dismiss.
when you will be 60 years old, your company laid off you, it is very hard to look for same pay and 技术含量高的job.
after I left houston,US, never got 技术含量高 position.技术含量very 高 position was in wichita,KS,
In Windsor, 技术含量高 too. Alberta, .技术含量 soso.我生命力很强大,会折腾
my some friends(Ontario), get IT master degree, worked in waterloo a IT company 3 years, after laid off, never did IT again, did general office clerk in University of waterloo
They didn't understand, you1: no local education 2 poor english 3 no husband, why you always get
offers? half offers the employer found me
one day, you can try 跳槽,funey

1990-2000 是我的黄金年代‎, 2006-2009 second 黄金年代‎(US),Now 下降 little.

my 前‎landlord克莱斯勒 senior engineer, he worked in 克莱斯勒 about 10 years, 2007 laid off,
never take job back, senior engineer, but no more good experiences, come back china, the bank took his 3 houses, second wife left too,悲哀啊!
US if you graduated university, don't worried about job, many chinese always stay in the company utill retire. But, now, always laid off, it is so hard to work in a company to retire
some P.Eng and senior engineer bad experiences, if they leave the company, no body hire them.

是!我的一个女同胞,大‎我一年, 女儿8岁‎,中国, 是professor, Now, 家庭主妇, 3 children,无法享受生活.
我穷, 她更穷,小气太抠门了

Calgary 1 year plus 1 month, 跳槽 2 times, 混不到管理层. I don't like 管理
老了, 跳不动了

英语是需要不断地提高的。我的一个当地老师曾说，如果你英语好，技术不好，可以找到一份好工作；反之，不能。

如果加拿大市场有限，那就没办法了。或者可以考虑其他职业，比如sales，不需要很高的专业技能，但是收益可观，如果你能handle好客户。

有些行业是越老越值钱，不能一概而论。

local 老外英语好, but lots 老外没到一份好工作,poor 老外 too many.

那就尽量呆在一个好些的公司吧。工作时间长了，公司可能会照顾老员工，放在一个不很辛苦的位置上。

她丈夫不要孩子,她要,喜欢攀比,要big house, 要移民父母,不喜欢工作,丈夫赚得money is limited, 骂丈夫.
她不工作,不understand 赚钱辛苦.
our 公司 hired a lisenced person, $32/ho, but gone 2x$20,000 parts, dismiss about 1 month
if i don't hold the jobs, now i stay at home, I have no more any 人际 background, the world of men, they always test my 实力,比体力更重要的是心理素,no more free lunch!
锻炼多,跳槽多,心理强大

可能只有我明白你的意思，一个女人凭自己的技术实力在男人世界里闯荡，确实要心里非常强大，但是我并不害怕男同事对我的测试，因为我知道自己的实力，我实在害怕女同事的那种对你技术能力的嫉妒，凭借她良好的英语和人事背景，不断的挑起针对你的事端，让你总是不太舒服，人生太短暂，没必要为这种人烦恼，我的策略是，离开，寻找新的机会，然后祝她全家早死早超生。

我一直在男人世界里闯荡,windsor company , department of engineering 4 persons, only me, female.
Wichita, department of engineering 8 persons, only me, female, houston company too, edmonton, calgary
too.男同事的那种对你技术能力的嫉妒，不断的挑起针对你的事端，让你不舒服, in edmonton a big company,
一个老外男同事对你技术能力的嫉妒，let the general manager 逼我, he hoped to get my experiences
short time, if he happened an accident in working, my mistakes, I quited( he had a license certificate)
