Non-destructive testers and inspectors perform some or all of the following duties:

Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using ultrasonic, radiographic, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current and other non-destructive testing methods& a% w/ }; B: J6 X C6 @
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations2 Y/ F) m6 ^- e8 {# E" }2 m; z
Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators$ H. h0 u3 w2 X" m- [
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results$ k. ?3 X; \- V5 g8 H2 `' G
Organize and report test results( O# P+ Q/ b; m, {: S+ y
May perform specialized inspections using acoustic emission, vibration analysis, infrared thermography and laser shearography testing methods

Non-destructive testing certification by Natural Resources Canada is available in three levels and is usually required by employers.) Y* m$ n: L( @2 T
Industrial radiographers using a radioactive isotope must pass an examination to be recognized as a certified exposure device operator by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.
; k' b; {% R0 H D5 D' e5 C3 kWelding inspector certification by the Canadian Welding Bureau is available in three levels and may be required by employers.
d; f% e8 `5 |2 Y3 D$ uBoiler and pressure vessel, process pipeline and above-ground storage tank inspector certification is available from the American Petroleum Institute.2 u4 D0 W" s( y; C. f5 f

你好!我是一位在国内从事探伤工作已15个年头的无损检测技师,近期国内有招聘探伤技术人员赋加拿大工作的消息,我可能作为第一批人员赋CANADA,现在还没签订合同!所以现在特别想知道CANADA的探伤工作情况及待遇.2 z+ e5 F) w' I) I d" Z8 Q# F
有必要在国内拿个国际(欧洲)探伤资格证吗?是不是一定要在加拿大本国取证才有效吗?还有就是中国劳动保障部颁发的技师职业资格证,在CANADA能承认吗?谢谢有空的话回一个哦.
